Pastor I. Matthew Egbon is an anointed man of God and he is the founder and senior pastor of Golden City Assembly. His vision is to empower believers through the teaching of God’s word.
Pastor Matthew is gifted with the ability to elucidate God’s written and spoken word through the help of the Holy Ghost, in a clear and simple way, with the aim of making people understand the whole essence of redemption:
- why Christ came
- what his coming has done for all of mankind
- how the purpose of his coming can become ours by faith in God’s word.
He holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in Business Administration from Madonna University Nigeria and the other in Pastoral Ministry from Oral Roberts University USA.
Pastor Matthew Egbon discovered God’s call upon his life right from when he preached his first sermon at the age of thirteen at Church of God Mission Iguodala district headquarter Benin City Nigeria, God further confirmed this call when he told his servant in a revelation on 05/01/2006 that “his promotion is in the assignment that He has given unto him.”
Pastor Matthew is happily married with a blessed family.
